The Center is located in the Children’s Education Building of Alamance Presbyterian Church. Each room is spacious and well-furnished. Indoor and outdoor play areas are available.
The Center provides services for children from six weeks through twelve-years of age. The hours of operation are from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Programs are designed for full-time care for infants through five-year-olds, and an after-school program for school-agers, along with a full-time summer program. School agers enrolled in the Center throughout the school year are eligible to receive care during teacher workdays and breaks.
Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided to all children, as applicable, that meet the Nutritional Requirements.
The Center is a Not-For-Profit-501(c)(3) institution. The Center is a licensed (G.S. 110-9) state center who has a consultant. The consultant comes in frequently to ensure the Center is meeting state guidelines. Annual inspections are provided by the North Carolina Department of Human Resources, Division of Facility Services. The Center is also inspected by the Guilford County Health Department and Fire Marshall’s Office.
