The Toddler classroom supports children ages 1 year of age to to two-year-old's. In this classroom your child will be working on developmental milestones at different months.
From one year to thirteen months your child will work on playing games, understanding one word phrasing, putting items into a container, looking for things that he/she see the teacher hide, drinking from a cup without a lid, and picking things up between thumb and pointer finger.
At fifteen months, your child will be working on mimicking others, showing others objects they like, clapping when excited, hugging toys, showing affection toward others, producing two-word phrases, following multi-word directions, learning to use objects the correct way (i.e., phone, cup, book), and stacking at least two small objects like blocks.
From eighteen months your child will work on doing things independently, turning book pages, helping with dressing themselves by pushing an arm through a sleeve or lifting a foot to put on pants/socks, developing three-word sentences, following one-step directions without any gestures, copying other doing cleaning activities, pushing toy cars, walking without holding on to anyone or anything, grasp a pencil and scribble, feeding themselves, beginning to use a spoon, and start climbing on and off of objects without assistance.
