The two-year-old classroom serves children two years of age to three-year-old's, who are not yet fully potty-trained. Your child will be working on developmental milestones at different months.
At the age of two, your child will start noticing when others are hurt or upset, look at others faces to observe how they react to situations, locate objects when asked where it is, say at least two words together, point to body parts when asked to identify, hold an object in one hand while the other hand is doing something else, turn switches on and off, rotate knobs, push buttons, kick a ball, run, walk a few stairs without assistance, and eat with a spoon.
At 30 months your child will begin to start playing next to other children and sometimes play with them, ask you to “look at me!” when they can do something, follow simple routines (i.e., it’s clean-up time), can say about 50 words, can name objects from a book, begin showing problem-solving skills, follow two-step directions, know at least one color, take clothes off by themself, can jump off the ground with both feet, and turn book pages one at a time.
